Personal exhibition at the "Gallery Blue Hall", Union of Artists, Saint-Petersburg
In October 2008 at the "Gallery Blue Hall" an exhibition of Anna Vinogradova was held, having gained big interest not only from the side of gallery visitors, but also from members of the St. Petersburg Union of Artists. Anna was lucky to study at the studio of Professor V.Pimenov and to graduate from it in year 2006. This studio was previously led by V.Reikhet and B.Ugarov and considered to have been one of the few studios at the Repin Institute with preserving the traditions of Russian realistic school. Anna was tought by N.Repin, N.Lysak, N.Blokhin during the period of her studies at the Institute.
Many art works of Anna Vinogradova are devoted to the theme of national holidays, Russian history and culture. This deep interest of the author to the native traditions is not accidental. Her childhood was spent in one of the most beautiful cities of the Russian North - Vologda. Her father is a famous architect, who was also involved in sphere of religious architecture. Anna’s Mother is a well-known ethnologist and art historian. In this art environment the artist grew up. Anna’s Art of years 2007-2008 paid a tribute to the Russian realistic painting of the late 19th-early 20th century, but in a modern, deeply individual refraction.
Repin academist’s exhibition in Beijing, May 2009
There never will be forgotten by mankind the path to beauty through art. It will never be another way, except realism, because this is the path of truth. The exhibition of our artists from Repin Academic Institute attracts viewers by talking to every spectator, using common language of human nature. And there is human, and there is divine. No other exists and would not be. I wish success to all of you, my dear friends.

Exhibition "Peredvizhniki (the Itinerants) of 21st century"
Art Union called "Association of Traveling Art Exhibitions. 21st century (St.Petersburg)" was founded in 2005 in Saint-Petersburg in order to revive the best traditions of Russian art, known for works of Kramskoy, Perov, Shishkin, Myasoedov, Repin and other itinerants of the 19th century. Unlike their predecessors, modern itinerants, along with a realistic (in it’s narrow sense) approach to art, offer another time-tested artistic concepts, which are close to the representatives of the "Art World", ‘Union of Russian Artists’ and later to other associations and streams.
