There never will be forgotten by mankind the path to beauty through art. It will never be another way, except realism, because this is the path of truth. The exhibition of our artists from Repin Academic Institute attracts viewers by talking to every spectator, using common language of human nature. And there is human, and there is divine. No other exists and would not be. I wish success to all of you, my dear friends.

Before our eyes a new star has risen just in a few years - a wonderful artist Anna Vinogradova. What is the secret of her success? Of course, this is talent, of course this is the school, but what’s more – her hardworking and tough character, her integrity in front of herself and in front of the audience. In this sense, Anna is quite categorical: ‘I want to do what I like, that I know and that I can’. You just could add one more thing here: to be responsible for what has been done. These qualities are within her northern character.
We met in 2004, when I saw her eight paintings at a student exhibition of the Art Academy and straightly bought everything – that is how our acquaintance has started. Since then, it took three years - quite a small term, in which she has grown up from a talented student to a professional artist, a master of modern painting. More than twenty exhibitions are left behind, where Anna’s works gained extraordinary success. A special circle of connoisseurs of Anna’s art has been already formed. These people follow her creativity, eagerly awaiting the appearance of new works, empathize with her victories.
When Anna Vinogradova was presenting her diploma work ("The procession of Shrovetide train"), an academician A.Levitin pointed at the importance of reviving the traditions of historical pictures and also wished Anna to achieve success in art. I would like to join this opinion and from my side I wish Anna Vinogradova not to change her principles and to continue surprising us and gladden by her new works.
